Cost savings realized by using ABZORBIT range from 25% to 75% depending on the cost of disposal for a particular liquid.

 

Environmental:   ABZORBIT, when used properly, does not release the material absorbed into landfills; it is non-biodegradable. ABZORBIT has passed the EPA's, TCLP (Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure) and PFT (Paint Filter Test).  

 

Efficiency & Safety:   ABZORBIT leaves no residue, therefore no slip hazards. ABZORBIT is completely safe to use; no health hazards or carcinogenicity. A bag of ABZORBIT weighs only 10lbs, as compared to fifty pounds for clay-based "kitty-litter" type absorbents. Thus, it is much easier to handle, greatly reducing the risk of back injury to employees and resultant Workman's Compensation claims.

 

Simplification on Stocking:   ABZORBIT can be used for all liquids (except hydrofluoric acid), thereby reducing the need for special purpose absorbents where necessary.

 

Total Cost:   A 10lb bag of ABZORBIT absorbs equivalent to three or more 50lb. bags of the clay-based absorbents. The total cost including labor cost to pickup a spill and dispose of the waste materials is considerably less than when using any other absorbent material.

 

Packaging:   Abzorbit is available in 10lb bags - 5 bags / case - 16 cases / pallet.  Also 4' socks - 24 socks / case and 8' socks - 10 socks / case and 12" x 12" pillows.
