Hydrocyclone Systems
In the housing, up to 19 small-diameter cyclone tubes are arranged in the form of a bundle. Helical inlet vanes positioned inside these tubes allow them to be nested closely together for exceptional compactness. A single inlet pipe feeds contaminated fluid to the clarifier. The helical vanes create a descending spiral of increasing velocity, forming a vortex within each tube. As the liquid descends, centrifugal force separates suspended soids. These solids, along with a small amount of liquid, form a slurry that discharges into a cart. Most of the liquid reverses direction before reaching the bottom of the cyclone tube. This clarified fluid spins upward in the high-velocity central core through the narrow center tube and discharges to the clean tank.
Models range from flow rates of 50 gpm to 900 gpm.

Easily retrofitted onto existing equipment

hydrocyclone clarifier
self-priming feed pump
support stand
solids pickup cart
solids dewatering cart
Stand alone systems

All of the above plus:
dirty and clean reservoir, clean fluid supply pump. To prevent the feed pump from running dry, models feature a check valve which maintains a liquid supply to the solids pickup.

For extremely high-abrasive applications, the tube and vane assembly can be hard chromed for longer life.
All systems are shipped factory-assembled; all controls are optional
All models are designed to process water-based fluids only.
Contaminant density must be greater than liquid density
Power requirements: 230/460 VAC, 3 phase, 60 Hz
Liquid temperature range: 35 F - 165 F
pH range: 6-9
